In Google searches, ‘Bitcoin(BTC), which around $9500 worth, is very high over the last three months, as per Google Trends. At present, the interest is very high. This interest started in August when the Bitcoin worth was around $12000.
Africa is Top in “Bitcoin” Searches
In Africa, the people are very interest in Google search for ‘Bitcoin’ keyword. Particularly, five regions of Africa reporting most searches for this keyword. These top five countries are Brazil, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, and Austria.
Paxful, a cryptocurrency peer-to-peer trading platform, reported that its volume from South Africa increased over 2,800% during the last year.

Google For Bitcoin only, but not Blockchain
Recently, China’s president recommended the country to increase blockchain-related development. But surprisingly, the people are not searching for the blockchain keyword. Most of the searching keyword is “bitcoin” as per Google searches.
On the whole, the chart indicates that the count of keyword searches for blockchain is more stable than for Bitcoin. And also, the blockchain keyword chart is not any sharp increase or decrease.
Encouragement and Warning
In the meantime, the Chinese government also announced on media to encourage blockchain technology but also warned about crypto scams. In the last year, so many crypto ICOs are raised funds from the investors and disappeared. So, the state gave precautions on these types of scams.
After the statement of blockchain technology encouragement, stocks in Chinese related blockchain A-share Company increased by 10%.
Interest on Blockchain
However, the new blockchain technology already emerged in so many fields like insurance, banking, and education, etc. This technology is giving so many solutions and cutting down the costs.
So many countries across the world are still studying this new technology. Some countries are already setup committees on blockchain technology to study its benefits.
