We saw so many cryptocurrency exchange hacks in 2018.  As an increasing number of investors in crypto, the hackers have targeted cryptocurrency field.  The year 2018 is very much volatile for the crypto field.  And the value increased compared to last year, so many new investors entered the cryptocurrency.  Generally, huge crypto exchanges have entered the market.  Some exchanges don’t take care of security regarding crypto assets.  So, 2018 is a record-hacking year in the cryptocurrency.

Most of the cryptocurrency exchanges are suffering from hacks.  Day by day hackers are becoming smart, so they easily hack cryptocurrency funds. In 2018 around $2.7 million has hacked in each day.  Hacking of cryptocurrency funds has grown 13 times when compared to the previous year.  This shows that very much serious actions have to take on the security.

Solutions for the future

  • The user’s credentials must keep in safe.
  • The email password should not compromise.
  • Use hardware wallets for keeping crypto assets.
  • Always alert for any caution messages on your Smartphone or computer screen.
  • Double check your sending address and don’t lazy to do.
  • Keep 24-words recovery sheet in a secured place.  Don’t enter an internet connected device.
  • Choose a PIN which difficult to guess anyone.
  • Use double security features such as two-factor authentication.
  • Don’t use store crypto assets in an exchange for a long time.

As a crypto investor remember the above rules.  Because daily hackers are getting most sophisticated and they easily hack your funds. Always keep your account safe.
